Launching at the Pipeline Energy Expo, April 4-6 2017, The Pipeline + Energy Expo Awards are a new initiative for 2018, and henceforth will be given annually in various categories within the pipeline industry that exemplify excellence in all its forms.
All companies, bodies and individuals involved in crude oil and natural gas pipeline operations, construction, integrity, safety, products, solutions and regulatory compliance of pipelines should consider entering.
Anyone may submit a nomination, however, the award will be given to the individual, body or project/product owner who is nominated.
One winner will be selected in each of the five categories:
For the first three categories listed above, the Project, Product, Solution or Environmental Awareness activities (or significant phases of a phased rollout) must have been completed between November 15, 2016 to November 15, 2017. This entry form must be filled out in its entirety.
All award winners will be judged and selected by the editors of Oil & Gas Journal, Oil & Gas Financial Journal, PennEnergy, and one Association judge, based on these specific criteria:
Where appropriate, please also list the major players that were responsible for the project/solution. Technology suppliers, EPCs, financial partners, and any others that helped make the project come to fruition. If possible, provide web links to where editors can learn more about the projects.
LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD CRITERIA:
The Lifetime Achievement Award will recognize and promote an individual who has made a significant contribution to the oil & gas pipeline industry over a sustained period of time. Nominees should have 25 years, or more, of sustained service to the industry, the respect of professional peers, general acknowledgement as having reached a pinnacle of their profession or industry, demonstrated an industry achievement and exhibit personal integrity.
'ONE TO WATCH' IN THE PIPELINE INDUSTRY AWARD CRITERIA:
This award is aimed at someone who is a student or young professional in the oil & gas pipeline industry (under 40 years old on November 17, 2017), who exhibits the behaviors and skillset that will make them a future ‘one to watch’ in the oil & gas pipeline Industry. Nominees should exhibit excellent vision and strategic direction, clear and proven leadership, a high degree of industry knowledge and potential for future success, in the judges’ view.
TIP: The care that you take in filling out the nomination form is of equal importance as the project itself. Incomplete nominations will be deleted.
One winner from each category will be selected and recognized during the Pipeline + Energy Expo keynote session in April 2018 in Tulsa, OK. A representative from the winning company, individual or body must be available to accept the award. Winners will be announced at the 2018 Awards Luncheon on Thursday, April 5, 2018.
Winners will be featured on www.pennenergy.com. A representative from the winning entries will work with PennEnergy editors to develop the article. High-resolution photos/graphics (up to 10) and/or b-roll video and additional project details (where applicable) will be required.
